Recently New West was honored with United HealthCare's Wellness Warrior Award. Award winners are recognized for implementing exemplary wellness programs aimed at improving health risk and prevention among their employee populations.

New West’s Advanced Transportation Group attended and exhibited at the Hybrid Truck Users Form (HTUF) 2011 National Conference & Exposition in Baltimore, MD (October 10-13). While New West has attended every HTUF Conference since its inception in 2002, except the first, this was our first year as an exhibitor. NWT employees Bryan Roy and Paul Windover recently instrumented a Berkshire Regional Transit Authority shuttle bus in Pittsfield, Massachusetts with a vehicle data acquisition system. Ken Rocker and Matt Oesterling will monitor and analyze baseline operational performance data to determine the potential benefits of a series hydraulic hybrid system retrofit for this application.
